Monkey D. Luffy (Straw Hat Luffy)

Luffy was born in the small Fuschia Village, in the West Blue. There, to the 10 years, the Shanx pirate knew, who, even so it did not know, was one of the biggest pirates of the world. In this time where the flock of the "red pirates" (the flock of Shanx) is in the city, an outlaw arrives and when he does not find beer to vender, he humiliates Shanx, playing beer in its same face and ordering it to clean the soil. Ruffy is not satisfied with this and decides to take off satisfactions with the outlaw, exactly not having enough force pra this. When to discover that Ruffy is carrying of the Akuma in the Mi (and after being humiliated by Shanx), outlaw leads boy for high sea, threatening to play it there in case that somebody it disobeyed (the ones that had eaten the Akuma in the Mi lose ability to swim), but Shanx obtains to save Ruffy of outlaw, that it is eaten by a monster that the leader of the Red Hair obtains to drive away, but finishes losing its arm during the rescue. After this everything, Shanx decides to go even so of the village, and leaves for Ruffy its straw hat, that would represent for the boy the spirit pirate. Seven years later, Ruffy decides to form its proper flock, and all follows route to the seas of the world, looking for, is clearly, the One Piece.

Straw Hat Pirates (Mugiwara Kaisuko)

In a world where the great adventures are lived in the sea, to the hunting of the extraordinary treasures, Monkey D. Ruffy is a boy who desiresto become The Pirate King. Akuma no Mi (Devil's Fruit)

They play a role important in One Piece because it allows the certain person, after to be foods, to acquire certain abilities of great power, being able to be used until as battle method. But, on the other hand, who eats a Akuma no Mi cannot swim anymore; in case that who ate it falls in the sea, goes to sink and dies. This is the curse of the carriers of the power of the "Fruit of the Devil", thus making the not-invincible carriers. Three distinct types of Akuma no Mi exist, that they are these:

Zoan: This type confers to its user the power to changed itself. That one that it ate a fruit of this type will be able to make three types of transformation: animal, half-human being-half-animal and human being. Or either: a human being who eats a fruit of the Zoan type will be able to changed itself into animal and an animal that eats a fruit of the Zoan type will be able to changed itself into human being (or also in another animal).

Description: This fruit provides to the user the power to emit Prótons de Noroma, that is small particles, being made any object to be slow per 30 seconds.

Description: This fruit grants to the user the power to create doors with the contact of its body. He is perfect for a spy as it is the case of Blueno.

Logia: This is the last family, but it does not want to say that it is to less important; by the the opposite, the fruits of the Logia type are considered strongest, therefore they are fruits that confer to its user the capacity of if transforming into an element of the nature (fire, ice, electricity etc.), making not to fear them normal physical attacks. It is necessary to also know that the users of this type of fruit can control and project to the will its corresponding element.

Something curious on the Akuma no Mi is that the person who to eat 2 Fruits will blow up.

Ace is the older brother of Luffy. He is always stronger than Luffy even when they are still kids. Ace is part of the White Beard Pirates, "one of the fearest pirate group and well known in Grandline" as the 2nd squadron Commander. Ace is almost the exact opposite of Luffy in terms of attitude. He appeared on the anime series at the Kingdom of Alabasta arc, in search of a pirate who formerly belong from his squad in White Beard Fleet, in order to kill him for committing a serious crime and having run away. Ace shows to its power destroying more than 50 ships of the Baroque Works with an only blow.

When a famous pirate known as the Pirate King - Gold D. Roger was about to be executed he revealed to the world his treasure known as "One Piece" was hidden somewhere at Grandline.
